​Tiffany founded TAG Athletics in 2015, drawing from over 20 years of experience as a seasoned cheerleading coach. Her coaching approach combines technical proficiency with motivational techniques, equipping athletes with the skills to excel in cheerleading and the confidence to surpass their limits. Tiffany's background includes a degree in mathematics education and experience working in her family business. After volunteering as a coach and significantly expanding her county's competitive program, she realized her lifelong dream by establishing TAG Athletics.

Coach Alexis, has 5 years of coaching experience under her belt. During her 8 years cheer career, she won Cheersport twice, placed top 5 at Summit two times, and placed top 10 finishes three times.

Carleigh Shipley
Carleigh is a lifelong athlete who began her journey in gymnastics at the age of three. With extensive experience as a coach, she has achieved notable successes including State Championships, Cheersport Championships, and Summit Finalist titles. Carleigh has also excelled as a competitor on the prestigious Worlds stage, winning the World Championship and representing TEAM USA. She is dedicated to imparting not only her expertise in cheerleading but also valuable life lessons to her athletes, fostering both their athletic development and personal growth.

Jacob Lewis
Coach Jacob is a seasoned tumbling coach with 17 years of experience, specializing in all ages and levels. Jacob has coached 4 high school teams to state finals including Pickens, Gilmer, Sequoyah, and Creekview. His technical expertise stems from 5 years coaching gymnastics at CGC and 9 years at TAG, leading multiple teams to summit finals.

Young Chu
Embarking on his coaching journey 18 years ago, Young's coaching expertise spans across 8 All Star programs, while nurturing talents for collegiate programs like Kentucky, Alabama, and LSU. As a speaker at the GCCA Cheer Conference, he educates high school coaches on safe tumbling techniques. Passionate about skill development, Young hosts skills camps/clinics, helping athletes learn new skills, while giving them the tools to understand how to fix their own mistakes.

JT Thornton
Meet JT, an accomplished coach with an impressive 25 years of experience teaching cheerleaders of all ages and skill levels. For two decades he honed his coaching skills in gymnastics at World of Gymnastics. JT was an athlete spanning 20 years, with 12 appearances at the prestigious Worlds competition. With a wealth of experience on the mat and the sidelines, JT brings a unique perspective and invaluable expertise to TAG.

Coaching Style: Meeting each athlete where they are, recognizing and respecting their individuality. Blend of humor and lightheartedness, JT creates an environment where athletes feel motivated while also being productive.

Franky's journey in competitive cheerleading spans twelve years, encompassing all-star cheer and collegiate competition at both D2 and D1 levels. Franky also has his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

With nearly a decade of coaching experience and over ten years as a high-level competitive cheer athlete, I bring a deep understanding of the sport from both sides of the mat. My journey through the highest levels of cheer has shaped not only my technical expertise but also my passion for developing strong, confident athletes—on and off the floor.
Coaching Style:I believe success starts in the mind. I prioritize mental resilience, positive mindset, and self-belief in stunts and tumbling. I work closely with each athlete to help them overcome mental blocks, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. Whether it’s preparing for a big competition or navigating the everyday challenges of training, I’m here to support the whole athlete—mind and body.

Coach Gary has been coaching since 2016. As a dedicated athlete, Gary cheered for Kennesaw State University from 2014 to 2019, competing at the NCA Collegiate Nationals. Gary has showcased his talent at the All-Star level, competing on the prestigious Worlds stage multiple times.

With over 20 years of experience in All-Star cheerleading, Coach Alexis has been deeply immersed in the sport since the age of 5. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, at The University of Alabama, steming from her passion for sports and the human body.

Shannen's journey in the world of cheer and tumbling began with TAG in its inaugural year as a devoted parent and friend. Her passion for the sport grew authentically through her daughter, inspiring her to support her athlete in every aspect of the cheer and tumble experience. During this time, Shannen took on the role of head team representative, where she skillfully helped maintain and organize many facets of the athlete experience, ensuring a supportive environment for all participants.
After her own athlete graduated, Shannen returned to TAG with a renewed commitment to the community. Drawing from her organizational expertise and personal experiences as a parent, she now dedicates her efforts to guide and support families through their cheer journey, providing valuable insights and care every step of the way.

Current athlete here at TAG, Hadley has been cheering for most of her life in school cheer and all-stars. Hadley coaches classes as well as teams, and shares her love of the sport through her coaching.

Hi, I'm Devan Gaddis, and I have had the privilege to be a preschool/tumble director for 14 years. What led me to this, was my love for allstar cheerleading growing up. I cheered competitive for 9 years. I have a passion to work with children, and watch them grow into amazing athletes, and to see them achieve every goal that they have along the way. I have been with Tag Athletics for one year, as the preschool director, and coaching a full year Allstar team. I’m excited to continue my journey here at Tag Athletics!
